Release 1.6

Release 1.6 includes minor enhancements and bug fixes that have been requested by our customers. Many of these enhancements are designed to give you more flexibility in the way you structure your projects and content.

Minor Features ✨

Participation Tool End Date

An end date can now be added to Participation Tools. After the end date has passed, users will no longer be able to submit to the tool, and there will be a notice to advise users that the tool is now closed. To ensure transparency, the community will still be able to view the tool's questions and any previous public-facing participation.

Idea Voting Customisation

A new setting on the Idea Board allows you to control access to voting. By default, the setting will be logged-in users. With this update, you can set this to Anyone, allowing any site visitor to vote on ideas.

Project Listing Block - Filter by Consultation Status

You can now filter Project Listing Blocks by consultation status. This results in a more useful and consistent list of projects.

Add Multiple Regions to a Project

You can now add multiple Regions to a project.

Fixes 🔧

• Any automated email from your District Engage site will now use the Site Name as the From contact, rather than "District Engage".
• There were some inconsistencies with the auto scrolling when dragging a block in the editor. These have been fixed.
• When sharing Engage links in Microsoft Teams, the Preview Image has now been fixed. 
• With Projects with no end date, the styling of the Project Card has now been fixed. It is no longer inconsistent with the styling of project cards with an end date. 
• We have rectified some inconsistencies with the way the Map Feedback tool title was displaying.
• When adding a custom Map marker to a map pin, the marker was cropped to a 3:4 ratio. This has now been updated to a square, to suit the majority of custom markers and icons. 
• On Registration, some users were unable to progress without selecting an interest or region. We have fixed this error.
• We have improved the performance and consistency of large shape files added to Maps.
