Here are some ideas to boost engagement for your event.
Add a FAQ
This is an easy way to answer questions about the event such as:
- What should I bring?
- Is food provided?
- How long is the session?
- Will there be a livestream?

Add a Map
Use a map to share details about the event including:
- Parking
- Public Transport
- Childcare facilities
- Toilets and other public facilities
- Emergency services

Add a survey
For forums and workshops, gather essential information about attendees by adding a link to participation tools such as surveys or polls. Find out about:
- Accessibility requirements
- How much parking will you need
- Catering
- Workshop topic requests
- General surveys to inform the content or structure of the session

Adding content blocks to an Event
Surveys, Polls, Maps, Idea Boards and other elements can be added to an exisiting Event in content blocks.
To add Content Blocks to an event:
- Create an event (Click here to find out how to create an event).
- From the Edit tab, click Add Block.
- From the dropdown menu, select the type of Content Block you want to add, e.g: Survey.
- Give this section a Title.
- Choose to display all available surveys, or a custom selection.*
- Choose how to format the display of surveys.
- Select Add [Survey].
- Click Publish.
NB: Adding a content block will only display the content that has already been created for the project. All Polls, Surveys, Idea Boards, Maps etc will need to be created as an individual tool before they can be added as part of a content block.
