Released 29th August 2024

Release 1.10 includes minor enhancements and bug fixes that have been requested by our customers. As well as this, there are a number of accessibility improvements to improve the readability and accessibility of your site, without you needing to make any changes.

Minor Features ✨

Survey "Other" option

We've added an "Other" option for checkbox and radio inputs in surveys and participation tools. When this option is enabled, submitters can select "Other" and provide a custom text response.

Custom outbound notifications can now be sent to project followers

We've added a feature to create outbound notifications to target specific project followers. Users can now select a project in the recipients' field to notify followers about updates or marketing related to that project.

Minor Accessibility Enhancements

We have made a number of minor enhancements to the way screenreaders interact with pages in District Engage. This is the first of many upcoming releases that optimise the experience for those who have accessibility needs when browsing the web.

Fixes 🔧

  • The accordion behaviour for the Rich content editor has been optimised when deleting and interacting with individual rows.
  • We've fixed the issue that occurs when clicking a Survey link on a draft project would redirect the user to the wrong URL.
  • To ensure accuracy when sending emails, the recipient count now only targets users who opt in for notifications.
  • We resolved the issue that prevented markers from being added to a map survey or idea board when clicking on a layer.
  • We have fixed an issue with the the creation date field on participation tools that occurred when creating a new draft revision of a tool.
