Accessing your user profile

On your user profile page, you will find an overview of information and actions related to your account, such as the projects you are following, and notifications.

  1. Login to your District Engage website.

  2. At the top right of the page, click on the username, then select My profile. This will open Your profile page.

  1. To manage your user profile, login to your District Engage website.

  2. Click on the username at the top right of the page, then select Manage profile.

  3. Alternatively, from the Your profile page, click on the Manage profile tab.

 

Profile information

You can update your personal information here, including your Email address, Display name and Password.

You can also select from a list of Categories of interest. When you sign up to receive notifications, you’ll be kept up-to-date about upcoming events, new projects, or project updates in these areas of interest.

 

Update password

To update your password:

  1. Login to your District Engage website.

  2. In the top right of the screen, click on your username, then select Manage profile.

  3. Enter your current password, and your new password. Confirm the new password.

  4. Click Update.

 

Two-factor authentication

You can choose to enable or disable Two-factor Authentication (2FA). When 2FA is enabled, you will be prompted for a token to authenticate your identity. This secure, random token is generated by the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Click here to find out more about 2FA.

If you are not sure if you need to enable 2FA, please contact your District Engage administrator.

 

Notifications

Notifications are sent to internal users on District Engage when certain system actions are performed. For example, when a survey submissions export is completed or when an update for a project you follow is created, you will receive a notification on District Engage.

To view all communications for your profile:

  1. Login to your District Engage website.

  2. Click on the username at the top right of the page, then select Notifications.

  3. Alternatively, from the Your profile page, click on the Notifications tab.
